This page explains about Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and how to exactly enable it.
What is 2FA?
Two Factor-Authentication (2FA) protects to help your account with an extra layer of security to make your account more secure.
How does it work?
All you need to typically do is next time you’re logging in, it’ll ask for a 6 digit code so you’ll need to open whatever authenticator app you’re using and then enter the code which will grant access back to your account.
How do I enable it?
To enable it, please follow the following steps down below.
Go to settings and scroll down to the "Security" section
Once you find it, click on "Enable 2FA"
You have two options: the fastest way is to scan the QR code, or if you’re on mobile, you can copy the code and paste it into your authenticator app
After setting it up in the authenticator app, grab the 6-digit code and enter it
When that’s done, simply click on “Enable”
You're all set!
What happens when enabled?
When you have successfully enabled 2FA on your account we’ll then send you an email of backup codes to use if you are fully locked out.
IMPORTANT: Never share your backup codes with anyone. Keep them safe and private.
